Sushi Rice

Ingredients

Rice
  • 2 Cups Short-Grain Japanese Rice
  • 2 Cups Water
Flavoring
  • 1/8 Cup White Wine Vinegar
  • 1/8 Cup Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar

Directions

  1. In a fine mesh strainer, rinse rice under running water for about 2 minutes.
  2. Add rice and water to instant pot, cook on the rice setting and allow to naturally release for 10 minutes following.
  3. Meanwhile, combine flavoring ingredients in a small bowl and mix until sugar and salt are dissolved.
  4. When rice is finished, add flavoring mixture and gently mix well to combine.
