Tuna Fish Pinwheels

Ingredients

- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Whole Small Onion, Chopped
- 1/3 Cup Celery, Chopped
- 4 Tablespoons Flour
- 7 Ounces Can of Tuna
- 1/3 Cup Mushroom Soup

- 2 Cups Flour

- 3 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Cup Shortening
- 3/4 Cup Milk
Directions
- Place butter, onion, and celery in skillet. Cook until vegetables are soft.
- Add flour, blend. Stir in tuna and mushroom soup. Cool.
- Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening. Add milk. Knead gently for 30 seconds.
- Roll out. Add filling and then roll up like a jelly roll. Seal then slice in 1 inch slices.
- Bake until dough is done.
Notes
Can be served with mushroom soup and milk mixed together on top. If you let the pinwheels sit before baking the dough will get a bit firmer.
