Baked Carmel Corn
Recipe from Grandma Rauscher
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Butter
 - 2 Cups Brown Sugar
 - 1/2 Cup Light or Dark Syrup
 - 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
 - 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
 - 24 Cups Popped Corn or Puffed Corn
 - 1 Teaspoon Salt
 
Directions
- Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, corn syrup, and salt.
 - Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla.
 - Gradually pour over corn, mixing well.
 - Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
 
Notes
It is good not baked too.
