Rock and Rye
Ingredients
- 1 Whole Liter Rye Whiskey
- 8 Ounces Rock Candy or Similar Sugar
- 12 Whole Cloves
- 3 Whole Star Anise
- 3 Whole Cinnamon Sticks
- 1 Whole Orange, Thinly Sliced
- 1 Whole Lemon, Thinly Sliced
Directions
- Stir ingredients together in a 4 qt glass jar with a lid.
- Let steep at room temperature for 2 days or up to a month.
- Strain and serve over ice.
Notes
Dried apricots and pitted cherries can be added as well if desired
