Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork
Ingredients
- 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
- 1 Whole Pork Shoulder Roast (4 Pounds)
- 1 Cup Barbecue Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Tablespoon Prepared Yellow Mustard
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Whole Onion
- 2 Whole Garlic Cloves
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Dried Thyme
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
Directions
- Pour the vegetable oil into the bottom of a slow cooker. Add the onions and place the pork roast on top.
- Mix all other ingredients and pour over pork shoulder.
- Cover and cook on high until the roast shreds easily with a target internal temparature of 190°-195°.
