Sushi Rice
Ingredients
Rice
- 2 Cups Short-Grain Japanese Rice
- 2 Cups Water
Flavoring
- 1/8 Cup White Wine Vinegar
- 1/8 Cup Rice Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
Directions
- In a fine mesh strainer, rinse rice under running water for about 2 minutes.
- Add rice and water to instant pot, cook on the rice setting and allow to naturally release for 10 minutes following.
- Meanwhile, combine flavoring ingredients in a small bowl and mix until sugar and salt are dissolved.
- When rice is finished, add flavoring mixture and gently mix well to combine.
